They say that the end justifies the means. But with that statement we suppose we know what the end is, and what every end is. God is much bigger. He is the One who can say all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose (Rom 8:28). We suppose with the statement the end justifies the means that God’s purpose is limited to the end result, and that He does not also have a purpose with what we consider to simply be the means to the end.
